Privacy Policy
Pure Air is a private dashboard for compatible air purifiers. This policy explains what the app does with information on your iPhone.
Data stored on your iPhone
Pure Air does not require an account and does not collect analytics or use advertising tracking. Purifier connection tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. Appearance and reminder preferences stay in the app’s local storage.
Air-history continuity
To keep charts continuous while the app is closed, a collector on your own home network can upload anonymous air readings (PM2.5, temperature, humidity, fan speed, timestamps) to the relay you configure, and the app downloads them when it opens. No account, location history, or purifier token is stored alongside these readings.
Connections you choose
Local mode connects directly to a compatible purifier on the same Wi-Fi. Relay mode sends the endpoint, bearer token, telemetry requests, and commands to the HTTPS relay you configure. The relay is user-controlled; Pure Air does not request or store a Xiaomi cloud password.
Camera and location
The camera is used only to scan a pairing QR code; the app does not save or upload camera frames. With permission, approximate location is used to request an outdoor PM2.5 reading from Open-Meteo for the Care comparison. Pure Air does not retain a location history.
Deletion and questions
Disconnecting the purifier removes saved connection credentials and local configuration. Removing the app removes its remaining local history and preferences. Pure Air has no user account to delete.
